Healtech ESE – Exhaust Servo Eliminator
Many recent sports cars are equipped with a servomotor controlled exhaust valve. When performing performance modifications involving the replacement of the exhaust or the installation of an additional control unit, it is necessary to eliminate the exhaust valve.
However, this can lead to problems such as signaling errors in the control unit – with consequent turning on of warning lights and, sometimes, the entry into operation of electronic protection mechanisms that involve the reduction of engine performance.
Healtech has thought of the trainers and enthusiasts who are facing these problems by creating the ESE (Exhaust Servo Eliminator) – exhaust valve exclusion.

Regain Useful Space While Shedding Weight
This tiny little fella will eliminate the bulky, heavy and space-wasting OEM servo motor with the operating cables and wiring, which can save up to 1 kg and frees up a lot of under-seat storage. Also, you may now get rid of the exhaust valve too by replacing the exhaust system.
Awesome Tech
Built-in microprocessor ensures optimal function and offers great compatibility. If your bike is equipped with an exhaust servo, you’ll need an ESE module – either if you replace the exhaust system or add a fuel controller module (or both).
Plug ‘n Go Installation
All ESE models are Plug ‘n Go, and installation is a breeze. Just locate the exhaust servo motor under the rider/passenger seat, disconnect the plugs, plug in the ESE to the OEM connector and that’s it – you’re ready for the ride!
What’s an Exhaust Servo & EXUP Valve?
For the last two decades, bikes have been equipped with an exhaust flap valve (also called EXUP valve) to improve low-end torque by restricting the flow of exhaust gases, creating back pressure in the exhaust system. As revs rise and the throttle opens, this valve gradually opens to allow unblocked exhaust flow.
This valve and its housing are welded after the header’s downpipes, before the collector pipe and/or the catalytic converter. Removing just the valve from the OEM system is usually not worth the cost or effort due to the system’s poor quality and weight. Although some OEM systems use titanium, finding a shop that can weld titanium is expensive and difficult.
The better solution is to install an aftermarket end-can or full system – and in either case, you’ll need an Exhaust Servo Eliminator to do the job properly!
